Year of the Monkey Celebration — KVB Kunlun Extends New Year Greetings to Chinese Communities Worldwide
Team Member

The Lunar New Year is the grandest festival in the Chinese world, and the most deeply cherished sentiment in the hearts of Chinese people wherever they may be. On this auspicious occasion, KVB Kunlun, mindful of Chinese communities around the globe, has deliberately reached out through various channels to extend New Year greetings, spreading heartfelt Spring Festival wishes to even more Chinese people.

A Nimble Monkey Ushers in the New Year — Lively Greetings Bring an Unforgettable Smile to Australia and New Zealand

During the Spring Festival, whether they were local residents travelling through the airports of Australia and New Zealand, or tourists who came specially to holiday in the region, everyone was amused by the adorable sight of several vivid monkeys scratching their ears and swishing their tails. This was a lively greeting sent to all by KVB Kunlun through the most prominent LED electronic advertising screens at Auckland and Sydney International Airports.

To let overseas local residents also experience the festive spirit of the Chinese Lunar New Year, KVB Kunlun booked prominent space in major local Chinese newspapers and magazines, and also reserved a large billboard in the busiest, most bustling area of central Auckland, as well as an advertising light box in the largest shopping mall of Melbourne's Chinese community. All featured the festive and adorable monkey, wishing everyone an auspicious New Year and prosperity!

The large billboard in central Auckland drew considerable attention from local residents.

A Strong Debut on Phoenix TV — Extending New Year Greetings to Chinese Communities Worldwide with an Audiovisual Feast

In addition to various traditional advertising greetings overseas, during the Spring Festival KVB Kunlun's specially produced 2016 Year of the Monkey New Year promotional film was also aired during the prime morning, midday and evening slots on the Phoenix InfoNews Channel, including the commercial breaks of the flagship programme "Newsline" hosted by Sally Wu.

As a global foreign exchange broker, KVB Kunlun has operations and branches spanning six international cities across three continents, and is also the first non-bank financial institution in the Greater China region to go public with foreign exchange trading as its core business. KVB continually brings Chinese communities worldwide international, high-calibre financial products and service philosophies, and further aspires to make substantive contributions to the value creation of the real economy at home and abroad and to strengthening the soft power of corporate foreign exchange management amid the accelerating internationalisation of the Renminbi. Phoenix Television, as one of the most influential media outlets in the Chinese-language world, bridges the distance between Chinese communities worldwide through high-quality programming, aiming to serve Chinese people everywhere, with branches and influence reaching across the globe — a leader in its industry. All of these share a striking affinity with KVB Kunlun.

This promotional film was produced by an American film crew, with location shooting spanning three continents — Australia, the Americas and Asia — capturing our fast-paced trading floors in international metropolises such as Auckland, Sydney, Hong Kong and Toronto. Edited by a professional film post-production company, it conveys to viewers the unique appeal of the foreign exchange trading industry and reflects KVB Kunlun's global operations and corporate culture. Through a single day traversing time zones amid the ever-changing tides of trading, it highlights the theme of KVB Kunlun empowering clients to secure victory from thousands of miles away.

Auckland, 7:42 AM

While the Northern Hemisphere is still in slumber, the early-morning sun rises slowly over Auckland just after 7 AM. In this financial centre — the first in the world to see the sunrise — KVB Kunlun's Auckland trading room has already struck the world's first quote, with fast-paced foreign exchange trading getting a head start, poised and ready to go. Full of energy, the traders keep a watchful eye in all directions, command the overall situation, and await the right moment to act.

Sydney, 9:01 AM

In Sydney, just after 9 AM, traders keep a close watch on market data, analyse the global landscape and listen to client needs — seizing every opportunity amid market fluctuations.

Hong Kong, 7:30 AM

In Asia's financial centre and bustling port, our traders continue their "battle" at the International Commerce Centre, Hong Kong's tallest skyscraper. Intelligent finance, top-tier risk control, and an all-round liquidity platform that is instantly "fast," "steady" and "precise" convey the belief of "New Finance, New Chinese."

Toronto, 5:31 PM

In North America, before the evening lights come on, joy has long been reaped. After a busy day, as they review their achievements, colleagues cheer and high-five one another. In just a single day, spanning the Northern and Southern Hemispheres and leaping from east to west across the globe, crossing multiple financial cities — from Auckland, Sydney and Hong Kong to Toronto. As a frontrunner in global foreign exchange trading, it is only through never slackening for even a second that such achievement is attained — securing victory from thousands of miles away.

In addition, the overseas Chinese New Year Celebration Day series of events sponsored by KVB Kunlun were held in full swing in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, drawing enthusiastic crowds and unanimous praise from participants. KVB Kunlun also wholeheartedly sponsored the "Joyful Spring Festival — Overseas Spring Festival Gala" event on Canada's national television, bringing a spectacular Spring Festival Gala feast to Chinese compatriots in Canada.

The 15th anniversary celebrations, themed "Integrity and Wisdom, Together," will also be rolled out in full swing across the many international cities where KVB Kunlun operates, including Beijing, Hong Kong, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne and Toronto.
