On January 18, 2020, the traditional annual event of Auckland's Chinese community, the Lunar New Year Flower Market Fun Day, was held in grand style at the Auckland ASB Showground. As in previous years, KVB Kunlun carefully prepared distinctive Lunar New Year gifts; embracing innovation and change, the KVB booth used the newly launched GCFX APP to engage joyfully with the public, drawing large crowds amid constant laughter!
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern attended the Lunar New Year Flower Market Fun Day for the second consecutive year, extending Chinese New Year greetings to the public and enjoying a cheerful interaction with the God of Wealth from KVB Kunlun International, soaking up the festive and jubilant atmosphere on site.

The God of Wealth became a popular "photo spot" for everyone at the event. Auckland Mayor Phil Goff was delighted to receive a red packet handed out by the God of Wealth, beaming with joy. We were deeply honored that both new and long-standing clients continued to flock to the KVB Kunlun booth as always. An hour before the event officially began, when the venue had not yet opened, hundreds of KVB clients were already lined up in an orderly fashion in front of the KVB booth, waiting to take part in our interactive activities.

The Year of the Rat mascot was the most eye-catching gift of the whole event! Its adorable appearance and auspicious meaning attracted people eager to receive one! In addition to the Year of the Rat mascot and a wide array of New Year gifts rich in Chinese cultural character, KVB also introduced an on-site experience of the GCFX App, allowing clients to instantly enjoy fast and convenient currency exchange; those who downloaded the APP on site could also take part in the monthly lucky draw. KVB staff were on hand to explain how to download and use it.

We were delighted that the public and clients showed equal enthusiasm and interest in both the traditional Rat mascot and the "modern" GCFX APP. This further strengthened our resolve to work hand in hand with new and long-standing clients in the Year of the Rat—consolidating and deepening our traditional business while harnessing financial technology to drive new growth and pursue new breakthroughs. Forging ahead with determination to reach new heights, breaking new ground to present a fresh new look!
