Through this event, the guests encouraged Australian companies to participate in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held this November. The CIIE is one of the world's largest import-themed trade exhibitions, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and organised by the China International Import Expo Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). In 2022, the CIIE welcomed over 2,800 exhibitors. Australian companies can seize this opportunity to showcase their products to Chinese import enterprises and build important business relationships, bringing Australia's international trade resources, quality goods and professional services into the vast Chinese mainland market.
