Team Member

On 15 March, Mr Andrew Robb, former Australian Federal Minister for Trade and Investment; Mr Ye Wei, Counsellor at the Consulate-General of China in Sydney; Mr Ben Lazzaro from Australian Made; Mr Damian Meduri from Investment NSW; and Ms Sophy Liu from Oz-Town Australia, among others, gathered at KVB's Sydney office to share business opportunities for exporting to China with the Australian companies in attendance, helping businesses understand the relevant frameworks for trade between Australia and China and supporting Australian companies in exploring export opportunities. The KVB Australia team has consistently served local businesses, helping foreign trade companies resolve cross-border payment challenges. As a premium financial services provider, we collaborate with various trade organisations and provide businesses with the latest market information, while also establishing financial ecosystem partnerships to offer more diversified services to Australian companies and support the growth of local businesses. Through this event, the guests encouraged Australian companies to participate in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held this November. The CIIE is one of the world's largest import-themed trade exhibitions, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and organised by the China International Import Expo Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). In 2022, the CIIE welcomed over 2,800 exhibitors. Australian companies can seize this opportunity to showcase their products to Chinese import enterprises and build important business relationships, bringing Australia's international trade resources, quality goods and professional services into the vast Chinese mainland market.
