"O-Week" Internship Recruitment: Guiding Students into the World of Finance
Team Member

On February 23, the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney held its annual "O-Week" orientation for new students. As one of Australia's top universities, UNSW attracts tens of thousands of the finest young people each year, both from within Australia and around the world, to pursue their studies. The event was held on a grand scale, and in addition to student clubs, numerous major financial services institutions actively participated, such as National Australia Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. KVB Kunlun, led by its Human Resources Department, took part in the event, and through its "Internship Recruitment" program, not only engaged warmly with students but also helped guide them from the ivory tower into the world of finance.

Although Sydney remained scorching hot during the first lunar month, the blazing enthusiasm of the young students could hardly be dampened. Shortly after 9 o'clock, the venue was already teeming with bustling crowds. The bright LOGO and welcoming Chinese characters at the Kunlun International booth naturally drew a large number of Chinese and Asian international students to stop and make inquiries. Australia's increasingly stringent requirements for overseas students applying for skilled migration have made work experience in relevant fields all the more crucial. Upon learning that our company was launching an "Internship Recruitment Program," many students expressed keen interest—particularly those majoring in finance and accounting, who eagerly discussed knowledge of foreign exchange and financial investment with us, hoping to secure a valuable internship opportunity during the holidays. Festive occasions always heighten one's longing for family, and this is especially true during the Lunar New Year. We specially prepared New Year red envelopes and a lucky draw for the students, offering these young people far from home a warm sense of "family."

Just as the sea accepts all rivers, talent diversity is a hallmark of Kunlun International's corporate culture. Our company's ongoing "Internship Recruitment Program" serves two purposes: first, to provide international students with an opportunity to learn and gain practical experience; and second, to identify and cultivate outstanding talent for the company's future development. It benefits both parties, and since its launch, the program has been warmly received by both company management and the broader international student community. Looking at these young, somewhat inexperienced yet vibrant faces before us, who can say that they will not become the backbone—or even the leaders—of the future "New Chinese, New Finance"?
