At eight o'clock that evening, the gala opened with a lively troupe of golden monkeys celebrating spring, and was hosted by Dashan, a Canadian personality well known to Chinese audiences. Chinese artists from "The Voice of China," the Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe, and Wuhan Television, together with Canadian artists, took to the stage side by side to create a star-studded cultural and artistic gala in Toronto.
A Dance of Spring performed jointly by Chinese and Canadian young ballet dancers gave the audience a sense of spring's vibrant vitality.
The highly challenging performances by the Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe drew gasps of amazement from the audience.
The dancers, dressed in cheongsams, showcased the perfect charm of the East.

As midnight approached, all the guests and performers took to the stage and began the New Year's Eve countdown together with the audience.
