The CCTV Spring Festival Gala has just concluded, and Chinese Spring Festival galas far away in Canada are also taking place one after another. On the night of February 7 in Toronto, the "Happy Spring Festival Overseas Gala," hosted by the Canadian national television network and the Canadian Chinese Culture Promotion Federation and co-sponsored by KVB Kunlun International, was staged for local Chinese communities at the Sony Center in downtown Toronto. With the theme of "Building a New Silk Road in the Sky and Spreading the Splendid Culture of China," it presented a spectacular audiovisual feast.

John McCallum, Canada's Federal Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship; federal Senator Victor Oh; Xue Bing, Consul General of China in Toronto; and federal Members of Parliament Geng Tan, Julie Debrusin, Rob Oliphant, Arnold Chan, and Shaun Chen attended the event that evening.

At the gala's welcome reception, Xue Bing, Consul General of China in Toronto, extended New Year greetings to the broad Chinese community, and noted that as a highlight of the "Happy Spring Festival" series of events in the Toronto area, the "Happy Spring Festival Overseas Gala" added a bright spot to the Year of China-Canada Cultural Exchange.

As a heavyweight sponsor of the evening's event, KVB Kunlun International was invited on stage to receive an award presented by federal Senator Victor Oh. The organizers thanked KVB Kunlun International for its participation, which not only helped overseas Chinese ease their homesickness during the Spring Festival, but also added a rich and colorful touch to the cultural exchange between Canada and China.

At eight o'clock that evening, the gala opened with a lively troupe of golden monkeys celebrating spring, and was hosted by Dashan, a Canadian personality well known to Chinese audiences. Chinese artists from "The Voice of China," the Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe, and Wuhan Television, together with Canadian artists, took to the stage side by side to create a star-studded cultural and artistic gala in Toronto.

A Dance of Spring performed jointly by Chinese and Canadian young ballet dancers gave the audience a sense of spring's vibrant vitality.

The highly challenging performances by the Wuhan Acrobatic Troupe drew gasps of amazement from the audience.

The dancers, dressed in cheongsams, showcased the perfect charm of the East.

Canadian dance artists added a festive atmosphere to the celebration with traditional holiday dances.

As midnight approached, all the guests and performers took to the stage and began the New Year's Eve countdown together with the audience. Fireworks rang out and ribbons fluttered, bringing the entire gala to a perfect close. Amid the joy of the arriving New Year, everyone savored this unforgettable audiovisual feast.

As currently the most representative and influential Spring Festival gala overseas, the "Happy Spring Festival Overseas Gala" was broadcast simultaneously via live television, the internet, and mobile devices, allowing hundreds of millions of viewers at home and abroad to celebrate the New Year together. Through this splendid Spring Festival artistic feast, KVB Kunlun International was moved by the enthusiasm of the Chinese audience and their heartfelt bond with their homeland. It hopes that this sponsorship, while celebrating the Spring Festival with overseas Chinese, will also help the local community better understand Chinese culture and build a bridge between Eastern and Western cultures—a truly meaningful endeavor.
