Team Member

Jointly organized by the Australian Trade & Logistics Corporation, the Australian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, Invest Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Sydney, two consecutive seminars were held on February 7 and February 15 in Sydney and Melbourne respectively, under the theme "Hong Kong 2023 Market Update: Post-Pandemic Trends and Opportunities". The two-day event attracted a host of Australian enterprises interested in the Hong Kong market and looking to expand their business in Hong Kong.

Jonathan Yeung, General Manager of KVB Kunlun International for the Australia region, was invited to attend as a keynote speaker. Together with trade enterprise representatives from Hawksford and Freight-World Corporation Pty. Ltd., he discussed Hong Kong's post-pandemic development opportunities and business advantages, such as Hong Kong's lower profits tax rate and the BUD Fund that helps enterprises open up new markets. Jonathan also shared the remittance and payment pain points of concern to businesses and their solutions during the discussion session, and the Q&A session saw very active exchanges.
